Just a reminder that the ongoing challenge for the team is themed of ORANGE. We need 16 members to participate in the challenge in order to create a treasury and hopefully make the front page! Also, as a bonus, the "winner" of the challenge will receive this lovely gift basket [pictured at left] full of Chicago Style Crafter goodies. Remember to tag your items "csc_orange" so that we can find them easily for the treasury.

What better to do on a subzero day than stay snug at home
and craft? Inspired by our recent meeting where intrepid members braved the
chilly Chicago winter is a call for crafts along
the theme of “Winter in Chicago.”

This project is open to all members of the Chicago Etsy
Street Team. The deadline is February 11th. Post your project on the
Flickr group page and also on your Etsy. When the deadline is reached, we’ll
put together a Chicago Etsy Team Project treasury. The theme is really broad so
I hope we’ll see a lot of interesting projects about our fair city and how we
love it even when it freezes our nostrils together.

Heads up everyone! They've just announced the 3rd Annual Craft-Off over at VENUSzine. Basic instructions are that your craft has be under $50 to produce and you have to send pics and instructions to them by September 20, 2007. Check out the link for more info.
